As I have already presented in my post on the eyelash curlers, my favorite way to have beautiful well curled eyelashes is definitely the permanent of eyelashes.

When speaking of eyes, we imagine a delicate area, make a permanent of lashes with several applications of chemicals may seem a frightening experience. Of course, if the operation is badly handled, this can be dangerous, even nightmarish!
But in Japan, the technicians are very careful and meticulous and if you go to a trusted salon, there is no problem. I have sensitive skin and it happened to me to feel a little tingling on the eyelids during the protocole but I have never had anything more serious.

So I highly recommend the permanent of eyelashes that allows to have beautiful curled lashes for a few months without ever using the eyelash curler with which we always end up tearing a few eyelashes or pinching eyelid.

So, the eyelashes perm, how does it work?
Well, the procedure is exactly the same as for the hair because the mechanism is the same.

Here are my lashes before the perm, after make up removal. I have straight lashes and that tend to fall.

1. After the makeup removal, we stick the eyelashes on the roller.

2. We apply the first formula which is a reducer. The formula is thicker than the one for the hair to enable it to act well on a smaller application space.
We cover with a plastic film and allow to process from 10 to 15 min, depending on the type of eyelashes.

3. We wipe the first formula off and we apply the neutraliser that we leave for 10 min.

4. At the beauty salon where I go, I am entitled to an eyelash treatment to complete: the treatment is applied to the eyelashes, covered by a plastic film and we put a hot towel on the eyes for 5 minutes. It is very relaxing, I love it! 🙂

Voilà, it’s already done!

I make this permanent about every 4 months and I love it.
However, when it is a delicate operation like this, the choice of the salon is very important. I tried several places and it happened that I found myself at the end with eyelashes completely folded, it was a horrible experience.
