How can I be sure about the quality of the salons?
The salons have been carefully selected by Hiroko, the owner of Japonism in Beauty who has been working in the beauty industry for more than 15 years in and outside Japan. Being herself an international beautician, she knows the differences between the hair types and beauty services or trends. She made sure to pick the best salons that are able to deal with these facts.
What is the flow for the featured salons booking service?
When you click the “Request booking” button, nothing is confirmed yet.
We will check the availability of the salon/nailist at your requested day and time.
We will get back to you by email within 24H to confirm it’s possible or we will suggest you alternative days and times.
Most of the recommended services require payment beforehand. Only when we agreed and secured a spot at your wished day and time, we will proceed to payment of the service.
Payment has to be made by Paypal or credit card and before the service.
Once we confirmed the payment is successful, we will send you a confirmation email with all the final details.
Then you are ready to go and receive the service!
You will show the confirmation email that we sent you so that the salon can identify you and give you the service.
If you have requested the translation service, we will meet you at the salon / your hotel / your house at the agreed time, on the day of the service.
Can I change my booking?
You can request for a change only one time per service. Request has to be made at latest one day prior to the appointment day.
We will try our best to arrange but nothing can be guaranteed. If you need to cancel finally, the below cancellation policy will apply.
Can I cancel and how?
You can request to cancel by contacting us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
You may or not be refunded according to the below cancellation policy.
However you cannot cancel an appointment for which you have already requested a change in booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
You may not be refunded depending on the timing of cancellation:
- If the request to cancel is made by noon 3 days prior to the original appointment date: 100% of the fee will be refunded.
- If the request to cancel is made after noon 3 days prior to the original appointment date, 50% of the fee will be refunded.
- If you fail to show up at the salon on the date/time of the appointment without prior notice, you will not be entitled to a refund.
- When you arrive more than ten 10 minutes late at the appointment time, there is a case that the salon may cancel the booking. In such a case, no refund is made.
What is the flow for booking coordination service?
First contact us for the service you are interested in. We can answer questions and try to help you decide if you should or not take the service, what service you should try, etc. Once you have decided proceed to payment by Paypal or credit card. We book for you and give you all the details about the salon and service. You can always ask us questions or contact us for any concerns.
